Difflugia sandbergi Schönborn, 1966

Diagnosis: Shell strongly compressed with parallel sides, fundus flat. Pseudostom oval and straight truncated. Shell hyaline, covered with diatom frustules, in between with scattered quartz pieces.

Dimensions: Schönborn (1966): Shell length 35.2 – 39.0 µm; width 26.3 – 28.5, thickness 13.2 – 14.0 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater; wet Sphagnum in a small moor (Abiskotal), Lapland, Schweden.
