Difflugia bifurcata  Snegovaya & Alekperov, 2005

Diagnosis: Shell pyriform, fundus divided into two parts. Aperture circular. Shell completely covered with siliceous plates. Cytoplasm dark-brown. There are 3 or 5 long lobose pseudopodia and 3-4 contractile vacuoles.

Dimensions: Snegovaya and Alekperov (2005): Shell length 115-125 µm; width 150-160 µm; pseudostome 29-33 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Type locality: Sediment of small shallow lagoons of the Kurakchay river, Azerbaiijan.
