Difflugia bifurcata  Snegovaya et Alekperov, 2005

Diagnosis: Test pyriform, fundus divided into two parts. Aperture circular. Test completely covered with siliceous plates. Cytoplasm dark-brown. There are 3 or 5 long lobose pseudopodia and 3-4 contractile vacuoles.

Dimensions: Length 115-125 µm, width 150-160 µm, pseudostome 29-33 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. In the sediments in the small shallow
lagoons of the Kurakchay river, Azerbaiijan.
