Hyalodiscus spec.

I found this Hyalodiscus species in a sample from a small freshwater dune lake along the Dutch coast. It resembled Hyalodiscus rubicundus, but most cells had a double contour. This was not due to diffraction, it was visible in both Phase Contrast and DIC and also with different objectives.
