Pyxidicula spec.

Diagnosis: Shell hemispherical, aperture nearly as large as the diameter of the shell; aperture bordered by a tubular ring, which is in fact a curved part of the shell, first curving inward and then strongly curving outward. Nucleus single, vesicular.

Dimensions: Measurements: about 20 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater, rare. Germany.
