Cryptodifflugia angulata Playfair, 1917

Diagnosis: Shell small, oval, transparent, lateral sides flattened, fundus rounded-conic, widest shell part in the middle, lateral sides converging at aperture. Shell surface smooth, without alien mineral particles. Aperture very small, circular.

Dimensions: Shell length 13–14 μm, shell width 10 μm.

Ecology and distribution. Sphagnum mosses, wet green mosses, water plants, soil. Australia.
