Cryptodifflugia pusilla var. conica   Playfair, 1917

Diagnosis: Differs from the typical form by its more elongated shape. The shell is conical or broadly oval, with a rounded aboral region. The apertural side is equal in width to the shell.

Dimensions: Playfair (1917): Shell length 12 μm; shell width 10 μm. My measurements: Length 7.7—11.3 μm (Odenwald, Germany).

Ecology and distribution. Freshwater, on vegetation. Australia, Germany.
