Cryptodifflugia angustastoma Beyens & Chardez, 1982

Diagnosis: Shell ovoid to circular, more or less compressed, chitinoid, strongly hyaline, and lacking xenosomes. Pseudostome oval, with a slightly thickened border and a very short collar.

Dimensions: Length 45–63 µm; width 40–48 µm; pseudostome 8–10 µm.

Ecology: Fen bogs.

Distribution: Campine region, Belgium.
