Diagnosis: Shell discoid, irregularly oval and its outer margin and sometimes dented in dorsal view. Aperture irregularly circular or oval. Shell translucent, light yellow to brown, membranous, encrusted with thickly crowded chitinous particles; in lateral view shell hemispherical and evenly arched; height of the test about half the diameter.
Dimensions: According to Chattopadhyay and Das (2003): Shell 84—114 µm × 90—113 µm; diameter-height ratio 0.49—0.54.
Habitat: Moss scraped on a damp rocky wall and a brick wall.
Geographical distribution: Jiribum, Jiribum district, Manipur State, India.
