Cryptodifflugia minuta Playfair, 1917

Diagnosis: shell minute, ovate, circular in cross-section, with rounded fundus, sides converging to a very narrow base; aperture very narrow, with thickened rim or sometimes a very narrow but distinct collar; membrane thick, smooth, inclined to be rufescent. Shell flask-shaped, markedly narrowing toward the anterior end.

Dimensions: length 10-13 µm, breadth 8-9 µm.
