Diagnosis: The shell is average, conical in shape, expanding in profile from the dorsal to the ventral side. The aperture is concave.

Dimensions: According to Godeanu (1972): Shell diameter 63—68 µm; height 70—75 µm; aperture diameter 40—43 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater.

Geographical distribution: Europe.
