Diplochlamys fragilis  Penard, 1909

Diagnosis: Shell hemispherical, round, greyish-yellow, bi-layered; inner hyaline sac clearly visible, enclosing the cell with a flexible aperture; outer layer composed of loosely arranged debris. Size 90 µm. Endoplasm granular, 30—40 vesicular nuclei, each approximately 6 µm.

Ecology: Herbivorous; found in mosses on trees, and in soil.
