Diagnosis: Theca oblong or ovoid, rigid, in diameter circular, densely agglutinated with small xenosomes; aperture small, irregular shaped; nucleus large, granular, in the posterior part of the theca. Filopodia long, branching and anastomosing, with small veils or broad veil around the aperture.
Dimensions: Length c. 35 µm, aperture c. 4 µm.
Ecology: Shallow freshwater ponds, Crailoo, Oppad, Netherlands.
