Pseudoraphidocystis cf. flabellata
Diagnosis: Periplast 10 µm, protoplast c. 5 µm; spine-scales umbrella-shaped, broad oval, 3.8 µm in diameter or smaller; with fine radiating ribs and a short stalk; no shaft; plate-scales very small, 0.77-1.2 µm long, elliptical, with small edge, no distinct structure.
Ecology: Freshwater. Sediment of a shallow mesotrophic ditch, Gaasterland, Netherlands (2014)
Remarks: This species may fall within the range of variation of P. flabellata.
