Archerella elliptica  (Decloitre, 1974) proposal n. comb.
Basionym: Ditrema elliptica Decloitre, 1974

Diagnosis: Shell elliptical with two apertures.

Dimensions: According to Decloitre (1974): Shell length 30 µm; width 25 µm; depth 8 µm; wall 1.2-1.5 µm thick; aperture 2 and 5 µm respectively.

Ecology: Soil.

Geographical distribution: Var, France.
