Diagnosis: Compared to Cyclopyxis aplanata the pseudostome is very minimally invaginated. It is surrounded by a light area; but on the other hand, it is bordered by a strong dark, very regular thickening. The general color is darker than C. aplanata. Finally, the habitat totally different and so are the dimensions.
Dimensions: According to Decloitre (1977): Shell diameter 150—160 μm; aperture 30—35 μm; height 30—35 μm.
Ecology: Beach in the sand, hole 20 to 25 cm deep.
Geographical distribution: Bonne Grâce beach on the waterfront, France.
