Diagnosis. SShell elliptical in oral view; dorsal side domed; ventral side sloping, with the ventral lip of the pseudostome thickened and concealed by a curved, sometimes scalloped, dorsal lip pierced with several randomly arranged pores. Pseudostome mostly with the corners shaped like a figure eight. Shell very dark and opaque; surface fairly smooth.

Dimensions: Length 124–170 µm (mean 162.0 µm); width 97–149 µm (mean 137.5 µm, n = 10).

Ecology: Litter, soil, and rhizosphere of epiphytes in mangrove, Guadeloupe.

Remarks: B. devexa is considered a synonym of B. indica by Bobrov et al. (2020).
