Difflugia rectifrons Gauthier-Lièvre & Thomas, 1958

Diagnosis: Shell pyriform, laterally compressed, there is a short neck. In the aboral region, Shell sharply truncated. The angle between the lateral edges and the aboral edge is straight. Covered with mineral grains and diatoms.

Dimensions: Gauthier-Lièvre and Thomas (1958): Shell length 160 µm; width 100 µm; thickness 70 µm; aperture width 28 µm

Habitat: Freshwater.
