Pseudodifflugia procera Badewitz, 2003

Diagnosis: Shell elongated cylindrical, remarkably slim, with straight or slightly curved flanks, in cross-section circular. Living specimens with a collection 0f xenosomes around their aperture.

Dimensions: Length 42-55 µm, width 21-26 µm, L/W=0.38-0,53 (n=20).

Ecology: Freshwater, river Nebel in Germany.
