Difflugia opulenta (Jung, 1942) comb. nov.
Basionym: Planodifflugia opulenta Jung, 1942

Diagnosis: Shell slightly compressed, in frontal view elongated ovoid or mitriformis; in lateral view pyriformis.

Dimensions: Jung (1942): Shell length 94–105 µm; width 53–61 µm; thickness 43-60 µm; thickness/width 0.7-0.9; diameter pseudostome 27–40 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater.
