Genus Geoplagiopyxis Chardez, 1960

Diagnosis: Shell with plagiostome, close to Plagiopyxis, but differs from it by the dorsal face curving below the convex ventral face. Shell hemispherical, wider than long, ventral surface slightly vaulted, aperture not easily visible as an irregular slit. Shell composed of amorphous plates without larger mineral particles.

Type species. Geoplagiopyxis declivis Chardez, 1960

Two species.

Habitat: soil.
