Centropyxis chardeziella Laminger, 1973
Diagnosis: Overall habitus is reminiscent of C. marsupiformis. However, the pseudostome is not elliptical to circular like this one, but rather five-lobed. The few spines, like the shell, are covered with small mineral particles and, like C. marsupiformis, are only located at the posterior part of the shell.
Dimensions: Length 78 µm, width 54 µm, pseudostome 22 µm, spines 7-20 µm.
Habitat: Freshwater. Sediment. Mexico
