Diagnosis: Shell oval, flattened, aperture is bordered by a thin lip well visible from the ventral side. Aperture large, invaginated and oval, situated in the middle of the ventral side. Observed specimens with spines (3-7), as well as without spines. Shell completely covered with sand grains of different shape. Lobose pseudopodia 2-3. Endoplasm light yellow, without inclusions. One nucleus, 3-7 contractile vacuoles.
Dimensions: Length of shell, 190-210 μm, breadth, 100-120 μm, height, 42-52 μm, aperture 55-60 x 70-80 μm.
Ecology: Freshwater. On water plants (in the Kurakchay river).
