Centropyxis janetscheki  Laminger, 1971

Diagnosis: Outline of the shell broadly oval in ventral view, in lateral view the fundus is strongly arched and becomes clear in the dorsal view from the pseudostomal part. Pseudostome eccentric, its outline is formed by two convex arches. Shell covering consisting of quartz particles lying more or less close together, smaller particles on the fundus and larger ones on the relatively wide pseudostome.

Dimensions: Length 124-134 µm, width 101-104 µm, pseudostome 55-62 µm; pseudostomal edge 26 µm, L/W 1.23-1.29.

Habitat: Sediment from the Vorderen Finstertaler See, Austria.
