Diagnosis: Shell divided by a ring groove into a highly convex, balloon-shaped fundus part and a pseudostome part with diverging sides. Shell almost radially symmetrical, only slightly tilted to the side. Shell hyaline and covered with quartz stones.

Habitat: Freshwater, Kartjärn sediment, Swedisch Lapland.
