Basionym: Centropyxis deflandrei Decloitre, 1955, name preoccupied by Rampli, 1950
Diagnosis: In ventral view, shell ovoid with the circular pseudostome in the smallest part. Shell completely covered with mineral particles. In leteral view, the aperture shows an invagination with an edge parallel to the ventral region. No inner structure with bridges or plars present.
Dimensions: Length 250-260 µm, width 220 µm, height 120-140 µm, pseudostome 80 µm; height of invagination 30 µm.
Habitat: Freshwater, Venezuela.
