Centropyxis stenodeflandriana  Bonnet, 1979

Diagnosis: Shell elongated with a substantially circular cross-section. Fairly small visor, clearly thrown back, with kidney-shaped opening. Slight constriction of the wall at the limit of the belly and the visor. Elliptical pseudostoma between belly and visor. Wall yellowish, transparent, with reworked siliceous elements more or less superimposed. Visor with very little mineral content, more transparent than the body, with a very thin edge (dorsal lip).

Dimensions: Shell ± 65.5 µm long (SD 5.8), width ± 41.7 µm (SD =5.2) (n=103, Bonnet, 1979).

Habitat: Soil. Japan, Java, Nepal.

Remarks: This species resembles C. sacciformis. Both are reported from Indonesia (Java).
