Centropyxis villiersi  Decloitre, 1954

Diagnosis: In front view, shell oval and completely covered with mineral particles. Frontal lip of the pseudostome lined with smaller mineral particles. In profile, the shell presents a profile somewhat similar to that of C. gibba, but it does not have a spine, to that of C. gibba inermis but the unoccupied pseudostome is not in the same place and does not have the same proportion in the base surface.

Dimensions: Length 64-72 µm, width 46-56 µm, pseudostome 10-14 x 12-20 µm.

Habitat: In mosses.

Geographical distribution: Mauretania.
