Centropyxis

This Centropyxis species was found in dry moss growing on a rock in northern Spain, close to the town of Cervera. The moss was fully exposed to the sun, at 1000 m asl. Specimens multiplied fast in petri dishes. All specimens had some larger xenosomes incorporated in the frontal lip. Some specimens had spines, others not.
