Plagiopyxis declivis var. eustoma Schönborn, 1966
Diagnosis: Shell circular in plan, hemispherical in lateral view. The lower shell part extends straight into the shell space; the upper lip is only slightly curved inwards. In contrast to the original form, the pseudostome is clearly visible and is broadly oval. The shell is slightly brownish and covered with small stones.
Dimensions: Diameter 60-62 µm; dorso-ventral (height) 28-29 µm.
Ecology: Soil. Tundra floor. The variety appeared together with the type.
