Plagiopyxis penardi var. oblonga Bonnet, 1959

Diagnosis: Strongly elliptical test in dorsal or ventral view. The ratio of the two axes of the ellipse can reach 2/3. Pseudostome very short, very narrow, not very visible, very strongly eccentric. Its structure conforms to that of the type. Very clear covering, comparable to that of the type.

Dimensions: Length 70-75 µm; width 53 to 56 µm; dorso-ventral (height) 33 to 36 µm.

Ecology: Soil.
