Plagiopyxis labiata Penard, 1911
Diagnosis: Shell in ventral view circular or broad oval, in lateral view more or less hemispherical with a flat ventral face; dorsal apertural lip doesn’t hide the aperture; aperture crescent shaped. Ventral lip bent inward. Surface of shell covered with mineral particles.
Dimensions: Penard (1911): 80-88 µm (Sydney, Victoria, B.C., Canada)
Ecology: Soil and dry mosses. I found this species in mosses on trees in Germany.
Remarks: This species has a relatively broad aperture.
